Kathy Blankley Roman

Kathy Blankley Roman is a contemporary artist. I am focusing on her very interesting abstract/contemporary landscape paintings. She creates her paintings through layers of a verity of different materials, which gives a very interesting textural composition. I am interested in how she builds layers and also scrapes them away, and her contrasting use of colour. I find her work very interesting and inspiring.
