The BALTIC - Starless Midnight

I decided to visited the BALTIC to look at a group exhibition created to commemorate, 50 years later, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. visit to newcastle where he received his honorary degree from Newcastle University. During his impromptu acceptance speech Dr. King spoke of three urgent problems throughout the world; racism, poverty and war. This exhibition brings together leading artist that look at all of these issues.

One of my favourite pieces with in this group exhibition is 'Gallery Tally' by Micol Hebron. The Piece takes up a whole wall and is made up of posters which reference inequalities between men and women in the art world.
