Statement of Intent

For a long time my work has focused on and been inspired by nature and natural form. Within my current project I want to focus on this subject area where I am comfortable and know what I am doing, but push my boundaries with experimenting with form, colour and texture. I will be using a wide range of materials such as acrylic paint, oil paint, inks etc. to experiment with new techniques.

I will measure my success by reflecting on my pieces and re-working the work that I may not find as successful as others. My success will also be measured by how much I am experimenting with techniques and material that i will be using.
